Initial Therapy
In order to evaluate your periodontal bed, each tooth around it is checked to see how deep the gum pockets are and how strong the bleeding tendency of the gums is. This allows us to see how advanced the periodontal disease is.
Your care of your teeth is crucial, which is why we start the treatment with a professional tooth cleaning in our practice. We effectively remove tartar and plaque. Healthy tooth substance is spared as we reduce the mechanical cleaning of the surfaces to a minimum.
